I hope everyone enjoyed their Christmas yesterday, whatever you ended up doing. I spent the day, as I do every year, with my large family, which seems to grow every year.

For the last week we’ve been running our Biggest Workplace Scrooge of the Year poll. It all started with a post asking who our biggest workplace Scrooge is.

Last Friday (16 Dec) was going to be the final day to add your story to the more than 300 stories of insecure work we’ve already collected. However, due to popular demand, the deadline for submissions has now been extended until 20 January 2012. Plus, with festive season looming we want to make sure every worker has the opportunity to make a submission to the inquiry.

We’re well and truly into the festive season with the great variety of work lunches and dinners to reward and recognise the efforts of workers.
